One night while Emeryr and her friends were having a get together at Reeds house they made a scorecard with the hottest players on the team. Graham coming in last since Emery “hated” him so much. Well Graham came across it while he was over at Reeds house and was determined to change her mind about him being last on the list. He kept telling her it would only take him one time for her to change her mind. They eventually sleep together and well…..turns out birth control isn’t 100% effective lmao!

Months after finding out the breaking news on the TV while just giving birth to her and Grahams’s twin girls, they are just coexisting together for the girls. He decides to give up his career for Emery and the girls just to show them how much they mean to him. All is going well until he gets news about his mom.

Graham is a smooth talking, golden retriever, hockey hot shot.

Emery is a fierce, independent, lawyer.

I love how this book touches on postpartum depression, because so many moms suffer from this and feel embarrassed to talk about it. They feel as though it should be the happiest times of their lives just having babies, but for more moms than not it can be the most overwhelming and lonely time.

I honestly think I found two of my new favorite sports romances! Graham and Emery’s story was so heartfelt and adorable, especially The Final Score! What started off as a casual situationship turned into so, so much more. Graham is just so freakin sweet to Emery and the girls!

The Final Score was so sweet and it really wrapped everything together! I cannot wait to read Ashers story next!
