✨Book review✨

This was my first racing romance, and it did not disappoint! It was a romance i did know i was missing! The writing in this story was done very well! 🏎️

This book follows Scarett, scar, letty, who is an 18 yr old girl who is trying to make it as a NASCAR racer. She's dating another racer who thinks she isn’t good enough and that she should just be by his side. She convinces her dad to allow her to race so he drives her to his friend's house who is now a trainer and just so happens to be her BF dad.

Dax, is an ex pro NASCAR racer whose career ended due to an accident. He's known Scarlett for pretty much her whole life. Well things heat up in that cabin!

I love the way that Veronica represented feminism in this book. Scarlett is competing for a place in a male dominated career, and she is so strong and brave and is constantly showing up the men. She is so fierce and puts on such a strong facade. Her dad never really took too much interest in her life and she really only had her brother Eli in her corner, until Dax. She was just so strong willed and resilient, and add in Jamison, the other strong female in this story!

The attraction between Dax and Scar was felt instantly and I was all for it. Watching it all unfold in the story was a wild ride. Daddy Dax can get it and i think i talk for everyone when i say, we all love a pierced MMC😂 This book has all the tropes and i am here for it!

That cliffhanger of an ending has me itching for the second book to be released! I need to know what happens between everyone!
