These two hate each other from the moment they meet each other, which ended in Ava slapping Colt across the face. Colt doesn't believe in love due to shit that went down between his mom and his dad. Colt has one goal, to sign with the NHL right out of college. He keeps to himself and doesn't share anything about his life with anyone, not even his best friend Clay.

Avas has a past relationship that she doesn't like to talk about and makes her not want to date anyone, especially a hockey player. 

They want to avoid eachother but their paths are always crossing due to her best friends brother being on the team and them always hanging on (a previous friends with benefits situation). He always seems drawn to her and its aggravating for him. She seems to have a pull to him as well. As they are forced to be around each other she realizes that he has a softer spot underneath the hard shell! 

Ava and Colt. Not even sure where to begin with these two. It all started like a slap to the face….like literally lmao! 

Ava is a strong willed, fierce, not so sunshiney, college freshman.

Colton is a grumpy, closed off, asshole senior hockey player for the college. 

I have had this book on my TBR forever and I am so glad that I decided to start it! Obviously, a sucker for hockey romance, this was a no brainer to start and finish in less than 24 hours lol These two had some type of hidden chemistry and the banter and angst in this book…literally top notch, and don’t get me started on the spice. The library scenes and the kitchen…like come on.

The twist about Dax, Ava’s dad, and Colt knowing each other, I definitely wqas not expecting that! I love the relationship that Ava and Clay, Colt's best friend, end up having. They are so cute and obviously that forces Ava and Colt to be around each other a lot.

The one downfall was the unplanned pregnancy. I’m not a huge fan of that trope to be honest so it kind of threw me off, but also it kind of worked..idk lol Overall, this book was just really good and I cannot wait to read more by her!
