This book mixed two of my faves, romance and mystery!! Tessa has such a way with words and it shows on the pages of her books!

Taylor and Myles crush it in this murder mystery/romance crossover! Myles is an ex detective turned bounty hunter from Boston. Taylor is second grade teacher from Connecticut!

When Taylor and her brother Jude decide to rent a vacation home for a week in the Cape the quickly find themselves, literally, face to face with a dead guy in the house! Dead guys sister calls in a favor from her boyfriends friend, insert Myles!

Taylor, before she even realizes it, is deciding to be adventurous and brave so she decides to help Myles with the case, whether he wants her help or not 😂

This book was so good and loved that Taylor was such a strong FMC! She took zero shit and turned out to braver than she ever thought she could be. Her and Myles needed each other. She needed him to show her the rough and dangerous side of..well everything lol and he needed her to open himself up to the softer side of life! They were adorable the the angst and banter was too notch! That church scene had me blushing 😉😊
