Is this book fucking taboo?! Yes.

Was the whole dynamic weird?! Yes

But..was this book absolutely amazing?! Also yes.

Why have I never read any Penelope Douglas before?! My god they are a wizard with words!

She’s always felt unseen and unloved. She’s always been closed off and a loner.

She was similar to the 3 men in different ways.

Her and Jake were alike because they were both running from their past.

Her and Noah were alike because they both felt trapped and no one to talk to.

Her and Kaleb were alike because they were abandoned by people they loved and they both struggled to connect to people.

From the beginning of the book you knew they all wanted her. Was it a tad odd that she was 17 and they were her “relatives”...yes?! But like it worked cause like she never knew them and they were step uncle and cousins lol

Her and Jake (step uncle) seemed to have this fierce connection at first, i'm not sure if it was because she was looking for an older figure to love her but she ultimately lost her virginity to him (totally consensual) They had this chemistry from them start, but she also found chemistry with both of the boys too.

When Jake went to the other cabin hunting she found herself with 😉 the other boys one night. A little odd that brothers would be down for that together but whatever. It was amazing watching each one of their relationships unfold. Tiernan and Jakes. Tiernan and Noah’s. Tiernan and Kalebs. I felt for Jake and Noah when Tiernan realized that she did love them but not like she was in love with Kaleb. In the end though, everyone got their happy ending, whether it was with a special someone or their hobby!

I literally could go on and on about this book because it was 470 pages of pure brilliance (in my opinion, I know others are totally not with me on that one lmao 😂)!

I just had a feeling that she and Kaleb were going to be end game. He was the first to kiss her when she got there, and although he didn't talk because of past trauma, the way they connected and communicated was on such a different level. The hate for eachother but also the love they had! It was just a good book and I wish I could read it for the first time all over again!

““She needs a lot, and all of them are things you can’t buy. She needs to laugh and get drunk. She needs to be tickled and cuddled and carried and teased. I don’t want to see her cry, but if she does, I want her to know there’s comfort. She has a home.”

I KNOW you want to read this book now! You can go ahead and buy it here!

You can thank me later 😊
